Feature manager organization

I am looking for an easy way to sort parts within the feature manager.  Any suggestions?  I would like the parts to be alphabetized if possible.

THANKS,

RE: Feature manager organization

I think you are missing the point.  The order of the feature manager tree is fixed.  It is quite delibreately serial chronological order (except for the miscellaneous items placed deliberately at the top or bottom).  That is the whole object of the SW structure.  The closest you are going to get is using folders.

RE: Feature manager organization

Yes, but if you drag and drop, you are stil limited by the chronology of the database.  You can't put a child in front of it's parents.  Which, again is the whole point.

It is only within an assembly that I want the part or sub-assembly to be sorted.  In the past, I have dragged and dropped the part, sub-assembly, or folder to achieve the desired order.
