Help! I am on a tight schedule to get my Patented prototype heatsink ready for production. I am trying to fit more heat fins on the heatsink. Right now I have only 52 fins, I need 96+. The fin patterns are in a circular pattern on a square block. I cant get autoCAD to segment the concentric circle pattern more than 4 times. I need to segmet the circular pattern 8 times. The circles lie within the square box so it makes it very difficult to surther segment the circles. Any suggestions?

RE: AutoCAD 2004

Are you using the divide command?  If so, divide the circle into more parts.

Are you simply using the linetype Hidden?  If so, change LTSCALE to a smaller number.

RE: AutoCAD 2004

Why not make a sector equal to
45 degrees trim the circles
and then array the pattern?

RE: AutoCAD 2004

What's your fin thickness and circle diameter?
