Teflon Grease

Teflon Grease

Teflon Grease

(OP)
I'm looking for a grease with at least 10% Teflon, preferably much higher that is compatible with Aluminum and polymers like Viton and Buna.  We have found a grease that fits this bill but it 's very expensive, $21.00/ounce.  Just to make things even more difficult, I can’t use a silicone based grease.

Thanks for you assistance.

RE: Teflon Grease

For other links to grease Manufacturers' websites, take a look to Thread408-74221 (in particular: my post of February 20th, 2004)... may be it helps.

Other useful references may be found in Thread408-104579.
In particular, Fomblin (RT 15, but there are many other grades...) is the PTFE Grease we use.

RE: Teflon Grease

A Fluorinated Polyether Greases that are used for lubricating o-rings including o-rings made of silicone and fluorosilicone rubber for aerospace and military pneumatic systems is one that called Tribolube-XX (I have used Tribolube-16) made by the Aerospace Lubricants, Inc. company and meet MIL-PRF-27617.
