(OP)
When you use the copy options wizard to copy your reg settings, is it safe to run that on other machines, or would it be unwise?  All other machines would be the same OS and versions of SolidWorks.  I was under the impression that copy options can be used this way across an entire organization but I wanted to know if it is safe and or recommended.  Thanks in Advance

RE: Copy Options

Yes, it is safe to do that.  I set up my machine when we are ready to roll out a SWx upgrade, then Copy Options from my machine and place it in a network location in order to update 40+ other users.

They do need to be on the same version of SWx.  My machine's OS is win2k pro and have used my options to update a machine running xp pro.

RE: Copy Options

My machine is xp pro and have updated W2k with no problem so far.
