Can any one show me a solution to measure the AC 3~ Doubly Fed Induction Motor Parameter like Rs,Rr,Ls,Lr... Offline&Online? I supposed that we have the Information of the Motor from the LABEL
Ulst=180V ; 7,5KW; delta /star ; 50Hz; cos_phi; 1/min; Rot_A
                   16,3/9,4 (A)         0,82     1425   27

Thank you all

Suggestion: Reference:
M. G. Say "Alternating Current Machines," John Wiley & Sons, 1978,
Section "Approximate Equivalent Circuit" on page 263
"Some useful approximations can be made for normal operating conditions with small positive or negative slip, and for no-load and short circuit conditions."

Hi
I just explain a litte more about this work. I am working on a DFIM, controlled by an back to back inverter. The control scheme is done by an controller, monitored from a computer. The main task of this work is to investigate the behaviour of system in case of grid fault.
Before that, a simulation should be done to have a first see of what would happen. That is why I need the Motor Parameters. Just tell me how to measure them !!!
Thanks alot

RE: Help to measure doubly fed induction machine PARAMETERS

While stator and rotor resistances can be measured directly across their terminals using a micro-ohmmeter, measurement of reactances requires elaborate test set up. Better to get all these data from the motor manufacturer if you can persuade them tp aprt with it.

btw, how badly do you think the system willl get affected by this small motor ?

RE: Help to measure doubly fed induction machine PARAMETERS

The procedure to measure the motor parameters is quite complicated and can not be explained in a simple written instruction. You will need a motor test Lab.
 See IEEE STD 112.  6.7 Method F or F1: Equivalent Circuit. 6.7.1.1 No load test, 6.7.1.2 Impedance Test, 6.7.1.2.1 Locked Rotor Test, 6.7.1.2.2 Impedance from Reduced-Voltage, reduced -Load Running test, etc.
