ASSEMBLY DESIGN

ASSEMBLY DESIGN

ASSEMBLY DESIGN

(OP)
Hi everybody

I have a question for you. Is it possible to change the origin of a new part after it is inserted in an assembly?.

Thanks in advance

RE: ASSEMBLY DESIGN

This question doesn't make any sense. You can move a part within the part file after it is placed in an assembly. It will move away from its origin (default axis location) but you do not move the origin. Or you can move the whole part file with constaints in the assembly, but the part and origin move together. I will need a specific example to give a better answer.
