Dimensionnal of cable ?

Dimensionnal of cable ?

Dimensionnal of cable ?

(OP)
How can we define the right main cable compare with the power supply ( 1900W - 2200W, etc..).To be sure a solution is to take main cable of 1.5mm2 diameter, but if we want to decrease this section, how can we estimate the right section, the number of wire, etc...

Thanks

RE: Dimensionnal of cable ?

Your cable CSA is determined by current, not power. So either tell us the current directly, or tell us the voltage you are supplying the load from. Also let us know the type of load, because if it is a motor or similar inductive load, the power factor will have to be taken in to account when determining the current.
