Filter a noisy signal

Filter a noisy signal

Filter a noisy signal

(OP)
Hello,
I've done acquisition of a mems accelerometer with Labview to make signal processing with Matlab and I've just a little more signal than noise. the fundamental frequence of this signal is normaly around 1Hz and when I make a simple lowpass filter I obtain a strange result : I'd like just extract the 1Hz frequence (just a sinus) but I obtain the beginning of a sinus and this sinus decrease to become nul. I use the function "filter". Can you tell me what simple function I can use to just extract the fundamental of the signal with a low-noise result.
Thanks.

RE: Filter a noisy signal

theres in matlab a great tool to process signals: signal processing toolbox just check matlab and find out that amazing tool.

regards
killa
