Spherical bodies with do/di>1,5 acc to prEN 12516-2

Spherical bodies with do/di>1,5 acc to prEN 12516-2

Spherical bodies with do/di>1,5 acc to prEN 12516-2

(OP)
The code doesn't state any way of calculating sperical bodies with do/di>1,5
It would be great if spheres with do/di>1,5 was considered "thick enough" and no calculation was required. Haven't found anything in the standard to support this however, so every time that I have had a case like that, I have ignored the fact and calculated the sphere as if 1,2<do/di=<1,5

Does anyone have a better idea?

Thanks

Pontus

The only Code deal with Spherical Tanks and Pressure Vessels:

GB 12337 - 1998 STEEL SPHERICAL TANKS National Standard of the People's Republic of China.
