Can't delete a surface

Can't delete a surface

Can't delete a surface

(OP)
I have a part where at one point, I have offset a number of surfaces. I now want to delete them. I have deleted all but one, which keeps giving the error message - surface cannot be deleted.

Why is this happening?

Paul.

RE: Can't delete a surface

I believe that error occurs when you have a surface that is being used in the current model. I have seen surfaces that you cannot delete, and that surface is usually being used as the trimming surface. I just hide the surface when I can't delete them.

RE: Can't delete a surface

Right-click on the surface in the feature tree, and investigate the parent-child relationships.  If there are child features, edit them so that they have no link to the surface you are trying to delete.
