On-line Dictionary & Thesaurus
(OP)
Wordsmiths,
For those that like to use considerable (www.merriam-webster.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Diction...) words, I suggest using Merriam-Webster OnLine (www.merriam-webster.com). There is also an excellent toolbar (www.merriam-webster.com/toolbar) functionality that allows highlighted words to be looked up for their meanings or for synonyms. Neat stuff!
Enjoy!

One thing that's kind of nice is that it references other, more esoteric sources like the EPA.

Depending on patience, m-w<ctrl><enter> in IE is fast.
A google 'gotcha' is searching on a misspelled entry and getting back more misspelled entries.
