Unistrut

(OP)
Does anyone know if the 'unistrut' rail is manufactured to a standard (BS, ISO, etc.) which stipulates the sizes and form of its section.

RE: Unistrut

From what I have seen over the years, the design is their own. The only specs I have seen relate to their materials for the channels and mounting hardware. In those cases they quote ASTM and SAE specs.

I did find under their testing and quality section that their load testing is based on AISI specification for the design of cold-formed steel structural members, 1996 ed.

RE: Unistrut

Why not ask them directly?

RE: Unistrut

There is no set standard saying exactly what the profile has to measure, just a rough guidleine as to what it should look like.  The website below will get you the standards that the strut manufacturers are supposed to follow.
