Question related to IEEE Std-2000

(OP)
What is q in Equation (24) page 21( the potential at any point (r,z) using cylindrical coordinates?

V(r,z)=((I*Roh(s))/(4*pi*b))*inverse(sin((2*b)/(sqrt((r-b)^2+z^q)+sqrt((r+b)^2+z^2)))

Shouldn't be 2 rather than q?

RE: Question related to IEEE Std-2000

I mean IEEE Std 80-2000

///Yes, it is a typo. It should be 2. I searched the referenced [B89] Jackson J.D. Classical Electrodynamics. New York, John Wiley & Sons, Inc., (Edition is not cited), for the equation; however, I did not find it in [B89] second edition. It may be in third or first [B89] or it might have been derived. Please, if anyone locates it in the mentioned reference, would you post it.\\\

on Page 139, example 4 ( B.4 L-Shaped grid with ground rods, is the area (A=4900 m^2) correct for Figure B.4?

RE: Question related to IEEE Std-2000

Please, ignore the last post. Yes, it is correct and A= 4900.
