Sketch Orientation

Sketch Orientation

(OP)
I'm sure there must be a simple answer to this one.....

When I go into a sketh is it possible to rotate the screen 90 degrees? I know you can flip the sketch so you are viewing from the rear side, but can't seem to rotate.

RE: Sketch Orientation

I know that you can set how you want your sketch to be oriented by preselecting an edge to be + xdirection before selecting your sketch plane or surface. This way your sketch will always be oriented how you want it.

You also should be able to use the SpinCenter arcs to rotate your sketch 90 degrees.

RE: Sketch Orientation

Hello,

I've found that if you use the "sketch with Absolute Axis Definition" option of sketcher, you can swap your horizontal and vertical axises.  When you go into that sketch it rotates exactly how your horizontal and vertical axises are originally setup.

hope this helps...
