Inserting Bolts and Screws into assembly

(OP)
Is there a method to set up bolts and screws to default to a plane and axis when inserting.    I>E>  If I have a part that I need to put a bolt through, I would like to be able to click on the surface and the axis then the bolt automatically be inserted and constrained.   I heard this is available in autocad, so I was thinking Catia should allow it also.

thanks.

RE: Inserting Bolts and Screws into assembly

One way you could do it is to publish the CL and face of each bolt in the catalog (with descriptive names). Then when you place an instance of the bolt, you can easily pick the published features in the spec tree to apply your assembly constraints.
