Solidwork export lines

Solidwork export lines

Solidwork export lines

(OP)
When I save drawing in Solidworks as dwg .When I open in autocad 2002 the 3D curves come in as thick polylines, any way to solve this problem will be greatly recieved.

 Thanks in advance JimP

RE: Solidwork export lines

If they are all polylines why not just select them all and then explode them,  then you can modify them to whatever style you want.  As for retaining the line types you had from Solidworks, i dont know if its possible, it may be because autocad doesnt have the same linetypes as Solidworks so it cant retain them

RE: Solidwork export lines

See if you can change the widths with "pedit".  Also, check the LWT (show/hide lineweight) button to see if it is on.  (it's below the status lines)
