Lateral Force Distribution

Lateral Force Distribution

Lateral Force Distribution

(OP)
I am looking for some good information that teaches methods and techniques for distributing lateral forces to shear walls (residential).

RE: Lateral Force Distribution

Looks like a good book to add to my collection.  I looked through the TOC, do you know if it goes into detail about identifying wall lines, proportional force distribution to each wall line and segment, and shearwall and diaphragm stiffness?

RE: Lateral Force Distribution

Yes, it does and a lot more. You won't be dissapointed. Probably one of the best referrence books that I regurlarly refer to.
