Centrifuge Material

(OP)

We are required to purchase a replacement PVC slurry centrifuge for our process due to deterioration and cracking found in our present 304 SS equipment. Our supplier is recommending that the new equipment be of 2205 or Inconel material. Has anyone had extended life using any of these materials in this service opposed to 316L. We have switched a lot of material to 316L from 304 over the past 20 years but do have centrifuges of 316L material operating for awhile with good success. Any experience with this would be appreciated.
