Welding Brass Sheets/Detail Parts for Model Train

(OP)
I'm looking for some of the most basic, successful, and informative ways of welding brass to brass. I'm starting with sheet brass available from a local hobby retailer, and precision detail parts... The problem is finding the best method of weld...I thank anyone for their help!

RE: Welding Brass Sheets/Detail Parts for Model Train

Hi,
why welding? when you can more successfully braze with a number of different brazing alloys, with oxyacetylene flame and proper flux. Especially recommended for precision items.
You need to provide suitable capillary joints, but that should not be difficult as it is your design.
All the best.

That is correct, brazing is the answer. Welding of brass may prove from easy to difficult or impossible depending on the composition.
