Telephone harmonic factor of generators

Telephone harmonic factor of generators

Telephone harmonic factor of generators

(OP)
Hi There

Could any one assist in replying to the following:
According to IEC 60034-1 the THF of generator must be recorded using line-to-line voltages.  The measured quantites during a test were however taken from phase-to-neutral values.  Can the formula still apply?  Unfortunately the phase angle of the harmonics were not recorded.  This way it could have been minipulated to give the correct line-to-line values.  Any suggestion on the topic will be appreciated

Thanks

RE: Telephone harmonic factor of generators

Suggestion: Comply with
Telephone influence factor (TIF): NEMA MG-1-22.43 standards
Telephone harmonic factor (THF): IEC 60034-1, B.9.2 requirements
Line-to-Line may have different harmonic content than Line-to-Neutral. It would be prudent to consider the worst case.
