NAS 523

NAS 523

NAS 523

(OP)
Either my copies of NAS 523 are older than the E specification, or I'm out of the loop on something, but all my sets of NAS 523 omit the rivet code for MS20470E rivets.  Does anybody have a copy that does?  It's not even in AC43.13 for pete's sake.
Now that ice-box rivets are out of vogue, is their code used instead?

I ought to be more specific, to prevent confusion.  I'm looking for the drafting symbol associated with the rivet type.
ie: MS20470AD is "BJ", MS20470DD is "CX", MS20470E is "??"

Whoever decided that this multitude of rivet material symbols needed a separate system of drafting symbols needs to be shot.

RE: NAS 523

Sparweb,
The code is "ATZ"

It's in my copy of the NAS523, but it is an older (2000) Rev. "For Reference Only". We don't do design work here.

RE: NAS 523

I've got the 1993 version (still in use here) and ATZ is listed there.
