Does anyone have any suggestions for improving the quality of mpeg files created within Motion?

RE: UG Motion

Don't use the Mpeg capture option... Use a series of TIF image captures, and them peice them together with a tool like Abobe Premier. I remember that was how some of the nicest AVI movies created by the UG Studio marketing people were made... I haven't done this personally, but I remember asking this same question a few years back. Anyone else have an idea?

The clips I'm creating are of fully articulated mechanisms in motion so the cut-and-paste approach may take a while. However I will pursue the option of enhancing the files with a PC application. Thanks! Any other ideas out there?
