ACAD LT and Visual Basic

According to AutoDesk AutoCAD LT does not support VBA but does anyone know if you can still access the AutoCAD object model in VB6 or VB.Net to perform Tasks on a PC with LT installed?

Thanks

RE: ACAD LT and Visual Basic

You can use a stand alone Visual Basic programme to interact with AutoCAD LT using DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange).
I've done it a couple of times.

There have been a couple of threads on this subject

RE: ACAD LT and Visual Basic

As far as I know VB .NET does not support DDE future. You must use VB 6.0
