Im looking for an addtive that can be mixed with Polypropylene during extrusion that will make it more resistant to deformation.  Currently as temperature rises PP tends to deform.

RE: Plastics Addtitive-Prevent Deforamtion when warm.

That tends to be the nature of PP, but several things can be done, depending on why it is warping, and what compromises you can make.

What is the application.

At what temperature is this warping occuring.

RE: Plastics Addtitive-Prevent Deforamtion when warm.

Additives called Nucleating Agents can be used with PP to effect cristallization behavior and eliminate or at least minimize warpage. A leading manufacturer of such agents is Milliken Chemical.
