Is there anyway around the Quadro4 card limitation to veiw parts and asem. in realview textured formats?  I know my card has the power, but its not a Quadro4.  Anytips besides forking over the money?

RE: Realview

I think you have to fork over money, unless someone knows of a Quadro4 hack, but you didn't specify if it was a nVidia chipset.

Also, ATI is NOW certified for SolidWorks, and WILL be doing RealView when SW 2004sp3 comes out. They have a new line of FireGL cards, that look pretty good.

RE: Realview

It ain't the Power - its the firmware and software.  There was a thread the other day talking about some hacks, but I would avoid them myself.

RE: Realview

Yes, hacks can be a good thing, but they can have an adverse effect on your hardware and warranty....
