Plotting problem with linked Excel schedules

Plotting problem with linked Excel schedules

(OP)
We are experiencing plotting problems with Excel schedules linked to Autocad drawing files. When opened on one particular machine, drawings plot as intended. When opened on one other machine, plotting of the linked Excel schedules is erratic - sometimes some plot, usually none of the linked schedules plot. The schedules do not plot even though they always appear in the Print Preview screen. The one software difference known is the machine that plots OK runs Windows NT 4.0. The machine that has plotting troubles runs Windows 2000 Pro. Anyone have any suggestions?

RE: Plotting problem with linked Excel schedules

As I remember I experienced same kind of problem. Maybe you have trouble with the spooler, maybe the printer driver don't work properly. Suggestion: paste excel tables with paste special and with 100% object entyties enabled.
You will loose linkage but it will always work. Also check "as text" for embeding objects.
