exporting results out of Ansoft Designer SV

exporting results out of Ansoft Designer SV

(OP)
Hello there,

i was wondering if it is possible to export the simulation results achieved with Ansoft Designer v1.0 SV. I want to use the results (say voltage over frequency) in Excel.
I want to compare the Simulation results with measured results in one diagram. Does anybody have a hint?

Thanks

RE: exporting results out of Ansoft Designer SV

I have e-mailed my local ANSOFT Applications Engineer to ask if this is possible in SV.  I normally use HFSS V9 where this is possible and I also do occasionally use Designer SV and I don't see that it is possible.  As soon as I hear from the AE I will let you know.

David

great, thanks for your effort.

RE: exporting results out of Ansoft Designer SV

Hi,

Here is the response from the ANSOFT AE to your question.

"It appears that the only way to get data out of Designer SV is either to
export a touchstone file, or to create a data table of the traces that you want, and right-click and Copy to file."

     Hope this help,

David
