Anyone have 98 International Mech. Code?

Anyone have 98 International Mech. Code?

(OP)
I need help with a code question and don't have a copy of this code. I designed a mechanical system in another state based on the 2000 IMC. The 2000 IMC allows you to provide ventilation air based on the actual occupancy of a space rather than the square footage occupancy in the table. The code official in this other state says they haven't adopted the 2000 IMC and still use the 98 version. Does anyone know if the 98 version has a provision for basing ventilation rates on actual occupancy? In the 2000 IMC it's 403.3.1. Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Anyone have 98 International Mech. Code?

There is no change in 403.3.1 and Table 403.3 in 2000 compared to 1998 IMC. Both permit OA for ventilation to be based on the rate per person indicated in Table 403.3 and the actual number of occupants present.
