Messaging between Siemens S7 and AB Control Logix

(OP)
We have several machines with S7-300 processors and want to collect its data in a Control Logix system.
In the CLX system we have installed a Logix5555 procesor and Ethernet cards (1756-ENBT). What kind of Siemens communication card should we use to send information via Ethernet to the Control Logix system ?
How to send messages from Siemens S7 and AB CLX processor.

Anybody can help us ?

Thanks for your attention

RE: Messaging between Siemens S7 and AB Control Logix

I don't think it is possible.
First up, I am not a siemens expert.

A company I do a lot of Allen Bradley programming for recently set up an interface between their Allen Bradley and Seimens system.

They used a lone S7 processor on ethernet to the siemens network to act as an interface. This processor was connected to an Allen Bradley PLC via RS232. The Allen bradly protocol was written in the S7 to transfer data between data blocks in the 2 PLCs.

Sounds tough, doesn't it!

I am sure there must be interfaces you can buy ready to go. Shop around. Prosoft might make a card for the allen bradley.

Good luck. I would be interested in your solution. Please post your solution.

Hello;
     You might be able to do this using Profibus. SST (www.mysst.com) has a ControlLogix card with a Profibus interface. You should be able to read and write data between the two this way.
