"Application MECHANICA is not supported on this platform."

(OP)
Hello,

I'm wondering is anyone has seen the error:

"Application MECHANICA is not supported on this platform."

This happens to me in ProE (Wildfire) when I try to switch from the Standard application to the Mechanica (Wildfire) application.

I do see the Mechanica side menu, and I can create Analysis and such, but when I select "Results" from the Structure menu I get another error message:

"This functionality requires Pro/Mechanica to be installed."

Now, I do have Mechanica installed, but now I'm starting to wonder if there is some kind of post-installation configuration steps that I should follow to point my ProE installation to Mechanica?

I'm running on WinXP Pro.

Thanks in advance.

Aaron

Thanks for the link!

I can't seem to login to PTC's CS site at the moment (very new to this).  But I'll be sure to check it out when I'm able to!

You need to set up a user account (assuming you're on maintenance) - tan123248 suggests that "Issue has been resolve in DateCode 2003330" - what datecode is your Mechanica?
