Mirrored text on drawings

This is probably a no-brainer.  SW2004.  One of our guys wants mirrored text on a drawing.  That's drawing annotation text, not something from a part file.  I did not have time to get any more details, but anyone know if and how?  A quick look-see test did not turn up anything obvious.

RE: Mirrored text on drawings

Could not find anything in SW, but you/they could produce what is needed with a word processor or graphics program like Illustrator and then inserting an object.

Would be a lot easier (although larger file size) if it were text on a model part though. Could they not use the sketch only (not extruded) on a part face?

That's basically what I told him.  Thanks for the confirmation.  I hardly ever use the drafting in combat.  This is actually an artwork for a silkscreen of an optical target - almost 3 feet square.  So I looked at the methods of outputting the data to the screen vendor and told them they needed to use sketches in a part model anyway.  No-none listened of course.  They all thought they knew better.  Now they are going to have to redo the whole thing. Oh well...... not my project fortunately.

Update:  Turns out for this specific application the best way seems to be as follows.  We now have multibody parts, so........  we make a PART of all the stuff on the silkscreen by only extruding the features a few thousands thick.  It really gives great results.  You can mate it onto the face of the object you are screening on and both part and assembly models and their drawings look great and are correct without any messing later with line widths, text font fill, color problems, etc.  And basically it really is what you get in real life!  By placing the sketches on the reverse plane (eg. Back instead of Front) or mirrorng the sketch text in the part, you can get everything you need.

BTW: Just for the curious among you.  The text is reversed because it is an optical target and the scope being used is an astronomicial, rather than terrestrial type - ie: the image is reversed.  We need the users to be able to read the text the right way round - can't afford errors..

Multi Bodies ... of course .... wish I had thought of that!
