Z-Clipping in Drafting Application?

Z-Clipping in Drafting Application?

Z-Clipping in Drafting Application?

(OP)
I was wondering how to set Z-Clipping for Views.
It shows up in View Info, but I have not been able to figure out how to set it or if it's impossible to set after the View is created.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Michael

RE: Z-Clipping in Drafting Application?

To my knowledge it is not possible to specify z-clipping in drafting per se; but you may want to look up 'break-out section' in help as that may get you what you want.

RE: Z-Clipping in Drafting Application?

You can "expand" the view, and then go into the Preferences, and set the Z clipping plane.  Its a bit tricky at first, but can be done.
