Test Case. Two Servovalves working in unison.....
Test Case. Two Servovalves working in unison.....
(OP)
I have an application using 2 hydraulic actuators to stroke a shock strut (s.strut is the Test Article) that is held in a test rig. Both actuators push & pull on the end of the test article and I want them always to act together at the same time otherwise I may put a torque on the test article and it may jam. I am using 2 Moog D683 Servovalves, one per actuator. Should the two C1 lines, and C2 lines from each servo/actuator combo be connected together so they push or pull on the test article at the exact same time? Are there any problems with such an approach? Is there a better way? Thanks in advance.

the other option would be to use a bigger servo to feed both actuators.
