Insert - Mirror Components - Mirrored Group not constrained
(OP)
I'm creating a u-bolt sub-assembly. I've got a FW, LW, & Nut all mated to each other & concentric to one leg. It's still free to move coaxially on the leg.
I then mirror the hardware about a plane of symmetry and the new components show up on the other leg. However, they have no mates and can move anywhere.
Is there any way to have them mirror and retain their relative position from the source group?

RE: Insert - Mirror Components - Mirrored Group not constrained
When mirroring, ensure that the "Recreate mates" switch is set. You should then only need to add a concentric mate to the other u-bolt leg & a co-axial alignment between the original parts.
Does this help?
