Thank's you very much,

do You know where can I find the elastic moduls and the Poisson ratio for each material?

Best regards,

Alex

RE: material database

Elastic modulus is also called youngs modulus. Many times the range possible in each alloy system is limited: IE: Steels are commonly accepted to have a range of about ~(28 to 30 x10^6 psi) (190-207GPa)thsi is mostly irrespective of thermal history and alloying. Normally I use a middle to lower range value for most metals. (or the big fancy mat-database that came withe the software. What alloys are you dealing with?

RE: material database

If you are using materials that are also used for pressure vessel or piping components, then you may also refer to ASME Code, Section II, Materials.  There are tables of E vs Temperature.
