Rolled thread tapped holes with hole wizard

Rolled thread tapped holes with hole wizard

(OP)
I'd like to use roll taps instead of cutting taps.
However, hole wizard assumes cutting taps.
Although I can manually enter roll tap drill diameters, these need to be entered for each hole and will revert if ever I change screw size. I can certainly load a different drill size when I CNC it but this won't work for milled bores.

Is there an elegant way to specify rolled thread tapped holes in SW2004?

The Hole wizard is Access driven.  You can change things around in there, but you had better be really good with Access Databases, and know your way around the structure of the default.mdb

This has repercussions though...

Solidworks maintains the stance of "Dont mess with the mdb"

if you do we will not support it....

I do however know people that have done this.
