ASME vs UNS Materials

(OP)
I am looking for some source of info for ASME material numbers vs UNS.
For example what will be the ASME (or ASTM) material will be for UNS S39274 (SA-179 or SA-790), etc.

RE: ASME vs UNS Materials

Hello Asher!

The book I use is "Metals and Alloys in the Unified Numbering System" and it is designated either ASTM DS-56,  or HS-1086 by SAE.  So, you can buy it from either society!

For S39274, the entry lists ASTM A789, A790, A815, and A988.  It also mentions NACE MR-0175.

Good luck!
