Solid Modeling Software

To all Finite Element Analyst out there,

I have initiated studying FEA using ANSYS and I don't have any working knowledge of any solid modeling software. As far as I learned, solid modeling can be done on ANSYS program itself but on occasion solid modeling software like Solid Works, ProE is imported and can be meshed and analyze as well. My question is: is there any particular  solid modeling software most often use with ANSYS? Thanks for the help.
