I have read that in a frequency scan, the models of some elements (transmission lines, motors, transformers, etc) should be frequency-dependent models.

I use DigSilent Software, and in this simulator this frequency dependency, is possible to include it in each type (of element), creating a polynoml characteristic in this form:

y(fh)=(1-a)+a*(fh/fo)^b

Where:   fh= analysis frequency    and    fo= fundamental frequency  

The unit of y is usually % of the original parameters (R,L o C)

Questions:

A)    Wich are the values for a and b (typical) for a 115kV transmission line .
B)    If I don´t use this polynimial characteristic, the frequency scan made by Digsilent doesn´t vary the line type parameters ? (I mean, the model of the transmission line is not a frequency-dependet model?)
