Hello,

I would like to know if there is any program to view a file with a .jed extension.

This type of files is used in programs for PAL's.

Best regards, Carlos Cardoso

RE: .jed viewer for XP

Hi Carlos:
It is just an ASCII text file : NOTEBOOK can read it.
If you have difficulty, copy it into a XXXX.txt file.

It is not too difficult to xlate it into equation if
you know the PAL type.

RE: .jed viewer for XP

Well, I wrote a simple program for the 20L8, it could be
modified for onther type. What is the type of the PLD
you are interested in ?

I'm using the 16V8.

If it worked i would be gratefull!

RE: .jed viewer for XP

Are you using a GAL emulating a PAL ? in this case it would
be simpler if you could tell the full type# of the PAL- I
wrote the program for the 20L8 so it may have to be
 modified

RE: .jed viewer for XP

I suspect the 16V8 is a GAL. It is usually used to emulate
different PAL types e.g. 16L8,16H8,16R8,16R6,16R4 and some
other strange types.

My program was written to xlate the 20L8 but I am sure I can convert it for whatever you use.
