Fibers -- raw or cooked ?

(OP)

eliminated by cooking?

RE: Fibers -- raw or cooked ?

No, they are not dismished when cooked, as far as know only proteins and vitamins are.

Pd: Our body needs the protein to be broken in order to use them correctly in the synthis of muscle fiber.

RE: Fibers -- raw or cooked ?

(OP)
Well, fibers are not a significant source of proteins and
some vitamins are destroyed by cooking. What about other effect e.g. promoting regularity, reducing cholesterol,
effects on the cardiovascular system etc ?
