Hole wizard, depth up to surface.

Hole wizard, depth up to surface.

Hole wizard, depth up to surface.

When I ask the hole wizard to create a hole with the depth up to a surface, and select a plane or a face, I get an error saying "select a face to complete specification".

RE: Hole wizard, depth up to surface.

Move the pull down out of the way (if it is) and select a surface. I'm guessing it's doing that bacause there are different possibilities as to which surface you want the hole to exit.

Thanks sam53,
That is what I have been doing, but it does not work (for a plane anyway). I will contact my VAR.

Colin

RE: Hole wizard, depth up to surface.

I believe this was a bug and has been fixed in SP2, but they took it off the website to fix a problem with save as PDF.

Try Sp2 when they release it, as SolidWorks have told me that this is fixed in SP2.
