tooth thickness allowances

tooth thickness allowances

tooth thickness allowances

(OP)
the problem is how to determine the upper and lower allowances in a gear mesh according to din 3967.
maybe also din 3960 and din 3962 are request to calculate
the tolerance field.
thank you

RE: tooth thickness allowances

I do not have the standards here
at home.  But the application
dictates the tolerance level
requirements.  For heavy industrial
equipment quality 12g would apply
for the ring gear and the pinion
would be held much closer possible
8a quality level.
