Export to Autocad

(OP)
Hi We have a problem when exporting drawings to Autocad on my computer using the same Solid works drawing template they transfer fine, but on the other computer the tittle fonts come in different. On my computer I get a message about proxy setting but not on the other. Dimension lines are not correct either.

Thanks in advance and a Happy New Year to You all.

RE: Export to Autocad

Sounds like you need to verify the Options (button on the "saveas DWG" screen) are the same, and look at the Map File settings too. Map Files can be used to control the use or non-use of AutoCAD fonts and what-not.

RE: Export to Autocad

"Proxy" objects in Acad are usually references that cannot be found. Like if you save a vanilla Acad prt using Mechanical Desktop, witgh no MDT features, you can still get this error. Or, if the seat of Acad is an older seat than yours. One other thing to check is to see if the font in the SW title block is actually installed on the problem machine.
