UBC 97 design data

(OP)
First o all: tanks for the cooperation

I need to buy the UBC 1997, but I was unable to understand if in the UBC 1997 are contained the seismic and wind design data of all world.
For me is an important information.

Best regards
Gianfranco - Italy

RE: UBC 97 design data

The edition of the UBC 97 that I have includes the United States, Guam, and Puerto Rico for seismic and wind design.

RE: UBC 97 design data

Even the UBC 1997 are contained the seismic and wind design data of other countries, I don't think you can use it.  You see, every country has its design and load code

RE: UBC 97 design data

I see in the 97 UBC Appendix 16 cities in Italy vary in seismic zone 2A or 3. Brindisi is 0. Gianfranco is not specifically listed.

I see no mention of design windspeeds neither in Ch16, nor the appendix for outside the US.

RE: UBC 97 design data

AlohaBob....Gianfranco is not a town in Italy.  Gianfranco is his name, he comes from Italy.

RE: UBC 97 design data

Please excuse me. I didn't read the post carefully.
