What's up with plasma aftertreatment technology?

What's up with plasma aftertreatment technology?

(OP)
Gentlemen,
I havent heard about Plasma exhaust aftertreatment for quite sometime. It has drawbacks for example, high power requirement, expensive, etc. However, I am pretty sure that the problems have solutions.
With the emergence of 42v electrical system, tougher future emission regulations, etc., this technology is worth our considerations.
Appreciate comments from engineers and scientists out there.

RE: What's up with plasma aftertreatment technology?

I understood that it was proving very successful in marine applications and that trials in commercials vehicles were ongoing. i.e. the jury may still be out. I would suggest a search of some of the marine industry web sites.
