Acad 2004 Express Tools will not load

Acad 2004 Express Tools will not load

(OP)
Hi,

I have loaded AutoCAD 2004 directly onto my system.  I am a power user on our network.  When I logged on as an administrator, express tools loaded just fine.  But when I logged on as myself, express tools will not load.  Any ideas out there?

Thanks,

Steve Smith, C.I.D.

I will answer my own question.  As an administrator, using explorer from My Computer, I went to the administrator's file under Documents and Settings. There is a hidden folder called Application Data ( Tools>Folder Options>View - click "Show hidden files and folders").  From there go to: Autodesk\AutoCAD 2004\R16.0\enu\Support.

Once there I copied the six (6) files named "acetmain" and placed them in the same area under my real user name.  Express Tools is now loaded and works.

Regards,
Steve Smith
