Shower head flow control - IR or draw strings
Shower head flow control - IR or draw strings
(OP)
Anybody know of a supplier of Infrared/light beam shower head controllers for water conservation - they are common on hand washing sinks now. If nothing is available yet how about a ball valve operated by draw strings (one opens - one closes) installed (retrofit)just before the showerhead.
Thanks.
Thanks.

RE: Shower head flow control - IR or draw strings
I think there is a push button shower actuator that I believe is on a timer which can be set for different durations. I think they use them in correctional institutions and schools to save water.
You might try Symmons, Bradley, Chicago Faucet, or American Standard. They are probably the best chance of having them.

It is Sloan Valve.
They are typically specified for flush valves, but I saw a reference to infra red shower actuators. Look them up.
