Bulk Items BOMS Inseperable Assemblies

(OP)
Greetings,
I'm a new user and have created an inseperable assembly, I need to add loctite to the bom parametically. Some one told me to create componet bulk item in assembly mode which I did. The drawing bom has a new line but I am unable to edit or get the part number to show. Can anyone assist?

RE: Bulk Items BOMS Inseperable Assemblies

For the Pro/REPORT variables used, your repeat region variable should use assembly type report "variables". But, I think this will mess up your regual pro/report fields.

You can also simply assembly a component to the assembly that has no geometry but, just the parameters to complete your repeat region.

RE: Bulk Items BOMS Inseperable Assemblies

You should create a mass component inside assembly mode.
(Also available under the popUp-menue in modelltree.)
requires Pro/Assembly
This creates a part which only can be used with the specific assembly used in.
You might need to have your specific parameters so:

Set Up >Parameters>Component | Part>Sel By Menue

You also can create parameters by changing the modelltree with all your parameters displayed:

click on the parameter field to specify the parameter.
