Copy parameters from one part to another

Copy parameters from one part to another

I have several hundred old(but still good)parts that need additional parameters added to them.  All the new parts we create have the parameters attached to a "start part."  I would like to be able to copy the new parameters(about 25 or so) into the old part so I don't have to create each one.  Is there an easy way to do this?

RE: Copy parameters from one part to another

I had to do this myself not too long ago.  I jsut created a mapkey, recorded the keystrokes when updating the first part and then ran it on the rest of the parts.

ModelCheck can do this also.

RE: Copy parameters from one part to another

Hello,

Another way of doing this is to create te parameters in the RELATIONS, and then just cut and paste them into each model.
Long winded I know, but it is a way.
